#ChemistsLive

ACS Cross-Division Virtual
Live Content Event

September 25th, 2020

#ChemistsLive features Live Scientific Presentations and Live Q&A with six concurrent tracks of technical topics. Registration is required to attend: registration will be open Sept 5th – Sept 15th. Registration is free for ACS CATL and ACS BIOL members. External participants can register to attend for $10. Nonmembers are encouraged to join one of the two divisions using this form and to then register for free (division membership prices are available here).

Registrants will choose two tracks per A.M. period and per P.M. period and will be able to freely switch between their registered tracks. The tracks chosen do not need to be from a single division: registrants can mix and match.

The Format

The default format is live-streamed talks with Q&A after each talk. Presiders will introduce each speaker and moderate the Q&A.Β  Questions will be typed into the chat boxes and then read out loud. If any speaker is not available at their scheduled time due to unforeseen circumstances, their talk will be played from a pre-recorded video.

The speakers will be treated with a virtual evening social event.
